Revised strategy and action plan approved

The General Assembly approved the presented and revised Strategy Plan 2013-2017 and Action Plan 2013-2014.         

The revised plans states that ECRAF still aspiresbto be the foremost independent institution recognised across Europe for the best practice within the military environment to prevent road traffic incidents / accidents and injuries wheter on operations or off duty. The revised plan is to be found at site Policy.

Annual report from EC was approved by GA

The Annual report from the Executive committe was approved by the General Assembly with one minor adjustment of the text.

The report showed that EC has had three meetings and discussed about 35 different subjects. EC underlines in the report that the financial situation needs to be strenghtened in the years to come. Sponsorship will be a new possibility.

The European Commission for Road Safety in the Armed Forces (ECRAF) has adopted the vision Zero as guideline for the work on road safety in the Armed Forces.

Vision Zero declares that nobody shall be killed or seriously injured in the road traffic.
