ECRAF Congress 2020 - webinar has just started

Due to the covid-19 spread through Europe the options to exchange knowledge in the roadsafety area has diminished and changed. But ECRAF and road safety always tries tocontribute to improvement and to find new roads to reach our goal; to be a competenceorganization where experts gather and exchange their knowledge. This two days event is meeting of  26 representatives from 12 ECRAF member nation (BEL, BIH, CZE, DEU, DNK, ESP, FIN, ISR, NLD, SVK, SWE, UK).

Strategy and action plan for the years 2020-2024 is approved

Since 2009 ECRAF have a strategy and action plan. The first document was approved in the general assembly in Finland during the congress. The document has been revised during the years and now it´s approved by the members and delegates for the 4th time.

The strategy and action plan is one of the steering documents for the Executive committee how to execute the work within ECRAF and external contacts that the executive committee should be working on. This strategy and action plan was approved in the 12th of June 2020 and lasts until the year 2024.

If a delegate has input to give, please send this to a member in the executive committee.

Invitation letter to ECRAF Webinar 2020

 The ECRAF executive committee has, with this ingress expressed, the pleasure to invite you to the first ECRAF webinar. It will be held the on 8 th and 9th of September 2020. The method and technical solution to perform this webinar is MS Teams. You will be provided with more information regarding the technical issues in the program and further more in late August.

ECRAF Congress 2020 = ECRAF Webinar 2020

The ECRAF Executive Committee (EC) has decided to cancel the physical ECRAF Congress and General Assembly in September 2020 due to the Covid-19 situation in Europe. (For more details, please see: Executive Committee Skype meeting MIN APR_2020 and Executive Committee Skype meeting MIN MAY_2020 We are instead planning to arrange a 1½ days Web Seminar (ECRAF Webinar 2020) 08th and 09th September with day two as a reserve day or a half day seminar in case of many topics. We are planning to use Microsoft Teams for the “Webinar” and we are now looking into the technical setup for this. The Webinar will include topic from Germany, the General Assembly and the Congress 2020. We are planning to arrange a Technical Microsoft Teams Setup meeting 04th September 0900-1100 so we can be best prepared for the Webinar. Invitations for the Webinar will follow before summer break 2020. Please consider if you have topics for the Webinar and return your topics in order to the invitations.

Please have a look into the “ECRAF Strategy and Action Plan 2020-2024” and return your comments NLT 12th June 2020, silent procedures rules.

The drafted ECRAF statutes will be one of the topics for the Webinar.
